Besties Bunny Rescue

Founded in early 2018, Besties was originally a small home-based rescue organisation. It was run by a single person with big dreams and a bigger heart, who gave up her backyard to help bunnies in trouble. Since then, we’ve evolved into a foster-based rescue with over 17 foster carers, a full admin team, and currently 40 bunnies in care! We aim to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home bunnies who’ve come from difficult situations. Our foster carers and volunteers are well experienced and trained in bunny care, and have provided the love and support countless buns need to overcome the injuries, aggression or fear responses that are all too common in neglect situations.

All our bunnies are desexed, vaccinated and microchipped by the Unusual Pet Vets before being put up for adoption, and their adoption fee of $185 covers this work and no more.
